The Library Voices show was awesome. Actually, I didn't get to catch Library Voices and I'm bummed about that but the other acts were great. I've been to a couple Lightmares jams the past week,and their new stuff is amazing. Nicholas is an amazing bass player and you really get to hear it. Plus they might be adding a little homage to the Vapors in one song. Awesome!

I listened to The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett and it is unreal. One of my favourite listens in a while. You can definitely hear Dan Bejar's(Destroyer) influence from this album, particularly on the song "Dark Globe". I read a couple reviews and they kind of trashed the album but don't believe them!

Unconditionally Guaranteed by Captain Beefheart was said to be one of his worst records by fans and critics. I think that's complete bullshit. Go pick up this record because I know you'll love it.
